On Monday, November 24th, Timothy Real Estate Group hosted their second ‘House Hunters International’ charity fundraiser event at the beautiful Mantamar Beach Club on Los Muertos beach. An estimated 600 guests attended the ‘Gilligan’s Island’ theme gala in support of four local charities which included Becas Vallarta, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Asilo San Juan de Diego and the Vallarta Botanical Gardens.
The fun filled night was everything it promised to be as the event raised twice as much as the 2012 ‘Old Hollywood’ theme event. The night included the raffling of over 100 prizes and a silent auction with some amazing items, including jewelry, gorgeous artwork, vacation accommodations, restaurant gift certificates, cosmetic treatments and a whole lot more – all of which were donated by local businesses. “I couldn’t believe at the number of donations we received from all our friends and local business owners. It was an awesome display of the kindness and generosity that exists in our community,” proclaimed Taniel Chemsian, the real estate agent in all the Puerto Vallarta episodes.
Gilligan, the skipper too, the millionaire and his wife, the movie star, the professor and Mary Ann were on hand in front of the S.S. Minnow stage to take photos with the guests, making the entire night an even more memorable voyage. The natives even got into the fun and “kidnapped” Ginger for a little tribal ritual dance. Don’t worry, she got away at the end!
