How Did You Get Your Start In Real Estate?
After graduating with a degree in Communications and Public Relations at the University of Utah in 1979, I decided to forgo my plan to enter the Public Relations field and went back to school to get my Real Estate license. In those days Timeshare was a new and novel concept and I started my sales career in a small town called Pickelville, Utah at Bear Lake in timeshare. From there I went o Park City, Utah as a sales manager, and then made the move to Los Angeles where I worked with John Douglas Company in full time real estate sales in the Sunset Strip area and with John Aaroe Company in Beverly Hills. After visiting Puerto Vallarta a number of times I fell in love with the people and the incredible beauty that is here. I purchased a home in Marina Vallarta in 1997 and made the move from Beverly Hills to Puerto Vallarta in 1999. I’ve never worked harder and never enjoyed it more. My last sale in Beverly Hills was a very large Bel Air mansion to a famous music producer and my first sale in Puerto Vallarta was a tiny condo with no view. I subsequently started to sell estate properties and growing the company, doubling sales volume each year for a number of years.
What Path Has Your Career Taken?
32 years later, I am still selling real estate in a community I love. I have been blessed to have a wonderful family and friends who have supported me in my career and the good fortune to work in other areas of the community serving on various boards of directors in charitable organizations, assist with governmental and business associations, and volunteering time to serve on the regional board for the local area Boards of Realtors.

The enjoyment of building long-term relationships with a wide variety of international clients is fantastic. That, combined with the ability of sharing this incredible destination, culture, and quality lifestyle excites me. A friend once told me that I help people find an “inspired lifestyle”. Bringing buyers and sellers together to fulfill a dream, or start a new chapter in their life is what makes my job so fascinating everyday.
What Do You Enjoy Doing Outside Of Work?
I love to travel having once worked in-flight and sales for Delta Airlines. I love the outdoors, which in Puerto Vallarta includes ocean sports, boating, sea life and wildlife. I also appreciate the opportunities of working with different community organizations that can help to make a difference in peoples lives. Music, Theatre, and the Arts in general are some of my passions.
