North Shore Services Expand with Addition of High-end Hospital in Bucerias Core and specialized services are growing leaps and bounds for the huge municipality of Banderas Bay, north of Puerto Vallarta International Airport in Riviera Nayarit.

Ground just broke for the elite CMQ Premiere Hospital in the town of Bucerias, ideal for its central location to the string of coastal towns of Nuevo Vallarta, La Cruz, Punta de Mita, Sayulita and San Pancho.

This private hospital will have the top echelon of diagnostic services and treatment of diverse pathologies, like its location in Puerto Vallarta. It’s expected that, as medical tourism grows in the area, this will attract and cater to the visitors and residents of the many gated communities and top-level hotels of the area.

Expected to open in approximately 18 months, this adds to the San Javier Hospital located in Nuevo Vallarta and the two clinics of Santa Rosa and Medic-Air Hospital, which have full diagnostics and operating theatres, albeit on a much smaller scale.

The high category of development in the zone has made for this coming of age in medical services. At one time, residents of the zone, relied on commercial services in neighbouring Puerto Vallarta but the area has become self sufficient and very well served with the likes of superstores, multitudes of banks and will now count with two elite hospitals.
